Boys arrested after 11 chickens are found dead
Three boys have been arrested on suspicion of animal cruelty following the deaths of 11 chickens.
Police launched an investigation after receiving a report of an incident at an address in Sittingbourne, Kent, on Dec 28.
A Kent Police spokesman said: “Following inquiries, officers arrested a 12-year-old, a 13-year-old and a 14-year-old, all from Sittingbourne, on suspicion of causing criminal damage and animal cruelty.
“They have since been released pending further investigation.”
