Kitchen nightmares

SIR – Heather Remblance asks chefs to stop crushing potatoes and sprinkling everything with pomegranate seeds (Letters, January 2).

I would also suggest less violence in the kitchen. Do we really need to chuck, throw, fling, bung or stick things in the oven? Robert Booth
