Cadbury’s ‘variety’ box takes the biscuit

 Cadbury has come under fire for selling a “variety” biscuit box containing just eight biscuits.

A customer from Birmingham said: “I thought they would be doublestacked. It was just one biscuit in each compartment and the plastic tray had been built up to make it look like it was deeper than what it actually was.”

The 107g Cadbury Biscuit Assortment Box boasts “Cadbury Milk Chocolate Biscuits in seven varieties” and adds “a scrumptious Cadbury chocolate biscuit selection with seven biscuit flavours to choose from!”

Cadbury said: “The weight of our products is clearly labelled on the pack.” It follows reports that many consumers are unhappy the company is about to issue a white Creme Egg.
