20 dead as blizzards hit US travel routes
The east coast of the United States was blanketed by blizzards yesterday, as a “bomb cyclone” brought snow to Tallahassee, Florida’s capital, for the first time in 30 years.
At least 20 people died from road accidents and the cold, and more than 3,200 flights were cancelled. Boston, Massachusetts, was hit with 18 inches of snow.
