Just the job Vilified Mcvey is back and has work to do

-

Esther Mcvey, 50, has returned to the Cabinet as Work and Pensions Secretary, taking over from David Gauke. In 2014, Labour’s John Mcdonnell called for her to be lynched and described her as a “stain on humanity” in 2014 for pursuing “cruel” policies like the bedroom tax. Soon after, she lost her seat in Wirral West in the 2014 election but returned in the snap election in George Osborne’s seat.
