Bigamist spotted with other wife on TV show

A bigamist whose first wife spotted him on a television show with his second wife was jailed for six months.

Helen Gundry saw her husband Daniel Gundry, 39, with Susan Brooker while watching Ant and Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway in March 2016. He was a guest being taken to the surprise live wedding of Ms Brooker’s sister.

Gundry, of Ashford, Surrey, initially denied marrying Ms Brooker but later admitted bigamy. Magistrates in Warrington said he had deceived both women, causing them “humiliation”.

Gundry married his first wife in 1998. She believed he was living in Dubai until she saw him on television.
