Moralising Virgin

SIR – The self-righteous, Left-leaning employees of Virgin Trains have persuaded management to discourage passengers from reading the Daily Mail by curtailing its on-board availability (report, January 10).

Although this will affect few readers, it is nothing short of censorship based on hatred of other people’s ideas and beliefs. It should be sobering to realise how easily many groups, using social media, can try to impose their views on others. Julian Branch
