Peer utters c-word to illustrate verbal abuse
A Tory peer shocked the House of Lords yesterday when she complained about Labour and Momentum activists abusing a Conservative candidate.
Baroness Jenkin of Kennington said they had yelled “f------ Tory c---” at the female candidate for Ealing Central and Acton in the general election.
It was believed to be the first use of the c-word in the Lords but sparked no immediate response from peers debating the role played by social media as news publishers.
