Shock at Primark’s ‘hot pants for babies’

 A customer at Primark was shocked by what appeared to be a pair of “hot pants” for babies on sale.

The denim shorts, aimed at children aged up to three months, were on sale in the Broadmead branch in Bristol.

A Primark spokesman denied they were “hot pants”, saying they were a rogue batch of shorts with an error in the way the denim was turned up.
