 It has been reported that the average length of time spent looking at an artwork in a gallery is 28 seconds, but the return of Radio 4’s in-depth art series, Moving Pictures aims to change that. In this immersive half-hour, presenter Cathy Fitzgerald is joined by author Tracy Chevalier and other experts to consider an anonymously made needlework bedcover, currently housed at the V&A museum, which depicts vivid scenes of life in Regency England. The bedcover is available to look at on the BBC website as you listen.
