Helicopter-hiring father rescues son

An Australian father dismissed police advice and hired a helicopter to find his missing son.

Samuel Lethbridge was seriously injured in a car crash and had been trapped in the wreck for 30 hours when his father, Tony, spotted the vehicle hidden in a ditch in bushland. He decided to ignore a police suggestion that his son had run away, and hired the aircraft to track him down.
