The likeable Kay Mellor series takes a sudden swerve into the dramatic this week as Linda (Phyllis Logan) is questioned by the police about her husband’s death. Meanwhile, Gail (Zoë Wanamaker) receives an unwanted visitor and Sue (the fantastic Miranda Richardson) has all manner of problems. SH
