Axe-wielding teenager attacks Russian school

Russian police are investigating whether three school attacks are linked, after an axe-wielding teenager injured five students and their teacher.

The 16-year-old, equipped with an axe and a Molotov cocktail, was taken to hospital after attacking the class before attempting suicide by stabbing himself and jumping from a window.

It is the third school attack this week, after two teenagers injured 15 people in a knife attack on Monday, and a student attacked a classmate with a knife.
