Questions raised over Barclays pension plans

Barclays’ plans to restructure its pension fund, placing the scheme under its riskier, non-ring-fenced arm once it splits into two entities, have come under scrutiny from MP Frank Field’s work and pensions committee. Mr Field has written to the Pensions Regulator asking if it examined the plans, amid concerns from members.
