Brothers go to battle in court over mother’s will

-

A stay-at-home brother has demanded a greater share of his mother’s £1.8million fortune because his siblings “pursued careers” instead.

Dominic and Jeremy Heath, who are both doctors, both reached “the top of their profession”. But the middle brother Timothy, 62, a “self-employed creative”, still lives in their parents’ London home. When their mother, Rachel Heath, died aged 93 in October 2015, she split her estate equally between the three brothers and appointing them all executors.

Timothy Heath told the High Court he had acted as his mother’s carer for many years. The judge ordered him to step down as an executor of the will.
