ONE of the Conservatives’ most experienced MPS has attacked Theresa May’s policies as “dull, dull, dull” and warned that the party is doing nothing to win over Labour voters.

Sir Nicholas Soames, grandson of Winston Churchill, said the party needed to be bolder to win over voters.

He wrote on Twitter: “Where is the bold and brave, so far it’s dull dull dull.”

Sir Nicholas added: “It really won’t be enough to get people to vote against the Corbini, they must have really sound reasons to vote Conservative. We really need to get on with this.”

Last week, Nick Boles, the former skills minister, complained of a “timidity and lack of ambition”.

Mr Boles said the Government “constantly disappoints” and told Mrs May it was “time to raise your game”.

Asked about their concerns, Mrs May’s official spokesman said: “If you look at action taken by the Government in recent months, you can see it is getting on with the job of building a stronger economy and a fairer society that works for everyone.”
