Accountant’s son with aristocratic links

The son of a chartered accountant, 31-year-old Jack Brooksbank has been dating Princess Eugenie for seven years. He was educated at Stowe before eschewing university for the hospitality industry, and met the Princess skiing in Verbier. He worked in Chelsea pubs, where he got to know regulars including Prince Harry and his friend Guy Pelly who, according to Tatler, “pulled him into the Mahiki set”. He later went on to manage the Mayfair nightclub and in August 2016 set up his own wine business, Jack Brooksbank Ltd. Mr Brookbank’s ancestors include Stamp Brooksbank, an 18th century governor of the Bank of England, and the Earls of Leicester.

His future wife is the greatgreat-greatgreat granddaughter of his own great-greatgrandfather, Thomas Coke, the second earl.
