US aid threat after Palestine ‘disrespect’
DONALD TRUMP has accused Palestine of “disrespecting” US efforts to broker a Middle-east peace deal.
Palestinian officials have refused to meet the Trump administration after the White House recognised Jerusalem as Israel’s capital.
“They disrespected us by not allowing our great vicepresident to see them,” Mr Trump said in a Davos meeting with Benjamin Netanyahu, Israel’s prime minister.
“We give them hundreds of millions,” Mr Trump added. “That money is not going to them unless they sit down and negotiate peace.”
