Katherine Jakeways’s charming sitcom series about four generations of women living under one roof returns for a third series. Marcia Warren, Lesley Manville, Sinead Matthews and Lucy Hutchinson star as Hetty, Maggie, Jen and Emily, who are working through familial relationships, ageing, marriages, life and love while supporting one another along the way. This week, Hetty tries to talk Maggie out of lunch with an old friend – someone who Maggie doesn’t even like – while Jen’s work placement doesn’t quite go to plan.
