Co-op Bank names Bob Dench as new chairman

The Co-operative Bank has named Bob Dench as its new chairman, the fourth person to hold the post in four years. He has served as Paragon Banking Group chairman for the past 10 years, and will continue in that position until a successor can be found. Mr Dench, 67, is replacing Dennis Holt at the Co-operative Bank, who last year announced he was stepping down from the post after turning 70.
