No decision on VIP paedophile ring claim
Prosecutors considering whether to charge a man with making up the Westminster VIP paedophile ring are not expected to make a decision for six months. This week it emerged that the fantasist, “Nick”, was last year charged over indecent images of children on his computer. He is expected to go on trial in the coming months, having pleaded not guilty. Former Tory MP Harvey Proctor – one of those falsely named as having abused the man – said: “[The CPS] managed to make a decision in the Hillsborough investigation ... in six months, yet this case is going to take almost a year.”
