Moscow forced to return N Korean workers

Moscow has begun to send North Korean workers home as required by the UN Security Council resolution, the Russian envoy in Pyongyang said yesterday.

The new ban would be a “blow to the Russian economy”, Alexander Matsegora told news agency RIA Novosti.

Russia issues up to 15,000 visas to North Koreans each year, and 35,000 have been working in the country.
