Anonymous accuser

SIR – Given that the individual known as Nick has now been charged with multiple offences (report, February 7), why should he retain his anonymity?

Those public figures falsely accused by him were named, despite there being no credible evidence against them. His continued anonymity only serves to undermine public confidence in the judicial system.
