The iphone X’s vaunted facial recognition software is supposed to allow only its owner to unlock it.

But in what Apple describes as a “one in a million” event, Joe Clayton, 23, has discovered that his friend Brad Butcher, 22, is able to access his £999 smartphone and he even has the ability to make contactless payments.
