Rapist told girl she could not be a virgin as she ‘was white’

 A rapist told his teenage victim she could not be a virgin because she “was white”, a court heard.

Ahmed Abdoule, a Somalian national, held a pointed piece of wood to the girl’s throat as he attacked her after luring her to his home in Hull. The city’s Crown Court heard the girl, who was a virgin, “pleaded” with Abdoule, 33, to let her go. Abdoule denied rape, but was convicted by a jury.

Jailing him for 11 years, Judge Mark Bury told him: “She told you she was a virgin to try to get you to stop. You said to her, ‘You cannot be, you are white’.”

Abdoule told his victim she was “not the only girl who was going to get punished”, adding: “My country would love you.”
