Trailblazer Neville breaks new ground

Joy Neville made history again last night when she refereed Ulster’s 59-10 win over Southern Kings in the Pro14.

In so doing, the 34-year-old became the first woman officiate a game in the competition.

Neville was named the World Rugby referee of the year in November, a month after taking charge of her first international, between Norway and Denmark.
