Looking for an old-school Valentine’s Day card

-

sir – I always thought that sending a Valentine’s Day card was a secret matter, in that the sender was supposed to hide his or her identity.

I therefore see no point in griping about differences in price between cards from wives to husbands and those from husbands to wives (leading article, February 9).

Look for an anonymous card instead and put the fun back into the occasion.

sir – Our local Waitrose is offering a Valentine’s Day dinner for two with a use-by date of February 13.
