Trump jnr’s wife in health alert over white powder letter
DONALD TRUMP’S daughter-in-law was taken to hospital yesterday as a precaution after opening a letter containing an unidentified white powder.
Vanessa Trump opened the letter, which was addressed to Donald Trump jnr, her husband, then immediately called the emergency services. Officials said the powder was not hazardous and may have been corn starch.
The letter arrived at a flat owned by Mr Trump jnr but occupied by his wife’s mother. The Secret Service is investigating who sent the letter.
Last night, the president’s eldest son tweeted: “Thankful that Vanessa & my children are safe and unharmed after the incredibly scary situation that occurred this morning. Truly disgusting that certain individuals choose to express their opposing views with such disturbing behavior [sic].”
