A JEALOUS girlfriend used her diamond engagement ring to cut her fiancé’s genitals after she caught him cheating, a court heard.

Rachael Biscoe, 44, had returned home to find Trevor Camp in bed, naked from the waist down and speaking on the phone to a woman with whom he was romantically involved, Weymouth magistrates’ court was told.

Biscoe accused Mr Camp of cheating and the pair began to row. During a scuffle, Mr Camp felt pain to his groin area and noticed he was bleeding.

The woman on the phone later told police he had shouted out to her: “She’s

‘Although we’ve had a volatile relationship, I really did not expect her to be so vicious’

got a knife and she sliced me!” However, no weapon was ever found at their flat in Poundbury, Dorset.

Mr Camp needed surgery to the wound and later had to be readmitted to hospital after it became infected.

Elizabeth Valera, prosecuting, said the injuries had been caused by Biscoe’s diamond engagement ring.

In a statement, Mr Camp said: “Although we’ve had a volatile relationship, I really did not expect her to be so vicious.”

Biscoe, who now lives in Ilminster, pleaded guilty to inflicting grievous bodily harm. She was given a fourmonth prison sentence suspended for 12 months. She was also given a concurrent two-month suspended sentence for breaching a conditional discharge from a previous assault conviction.
