Stephen Fry ‘I’ll wait and see’

Stephen Fry is the latest celebrity to distance himself from Oxfam as ambassadors and supporters failed last night to publicly back the charity.

A spokesman for the actor and comedian, 60, a signatory for its appeals, said he was “waiting to see how they put their house in order”. Of the high-profile ambassadors, only “horrified” Minnie Driver has stepped down. Three refused to comment while several others did not respond.
