Lingerie flasher must not speak to women for five years

- By

A FLASHER has been banned from speaking to women for five years after he exposed himself to women while wearing stockings and suspenders.

Magistrates imposed a sexual harm prevention order on Jason Littlewood, 48, after he approached a woman on a night out before dropping his trousers to reveal he was wearing lingerie. He asked her “what do you think of this?” before she told him to go away.

The order prevents Littlewood from “contacting, approaching, or communicating with any female whom he does not know in a public place other than to obtain goods or services”.

The only exceptions allowed are when contact is “inadvertent or an emergency situation”. He also received a 36-month community order, with 30 days of rehabilitation on a sex offender treatment programme. He must carry out 200 hours of unpaid work and sign the sex offenders register for five years.

Magistrates in Carlisle, Cumbria, heard that Littlewood, from Whinny Hill, near Stockton-on-tees, had a previous conviction for exposing himself.

At his trial earlier this year, the woman said Littlewood approached her in the centre of Carlisle at 2am on Nov 19 last year. She said he dropped his jeans to reveal knickers, black stockings and suspenders. “He was also exposing himself,” she said.

Littlewood denied indecent exposure and said revealing himself had been accidental. He said: “It’s a bit of a fetish I have got. I like dressing up.”

Tom Lomas, the chairman of the bench, said: “We feel there was specific targeting of a vulnerable victim.”
