Would you put your 15-year-old daughter on the catwalk?

- Model pupil: Olivia Forsbrook will spend her half-term in Milan

Have you heard about Olivia Forsbrook, the 15-year-old model who is due to grace the catwalk at Milan Fashion Week, just when she ought to be knuckling down to her GCSE revision?

Does her mother know? Hell, yeah. She sent the pointyelbowed email direct to the designer and got her daughter the gig, thereby showing up the rest of us slackers who can barely get around to washing school uniforms at the weekend.

In fairness, 5ft 7in Olivia already has an agent and a few modelling jobs under her belt.

In unfairness, why is my daughter only 5ft 2in? (Nothing to do with me; I’m a leggy

5ft 3½in…)

But everyone blames the parents, whether we make that call or not.

Is the age of 15 too young to sashay down the runway? Truthfully, if I said yes, it would only be because it wasn’t my call.
