Mini reactors ‘by 2030’

Rolls-royce has said a mini nuclear reactor prototype could be ready by 2030, but that it needs the Government to “move forward with the formation of policy”. If it does, Rolls-royce’s Alan Woods said the engineering firm could begin a design assessment later this year.
