The Bone Collector (1999)

 Denzel Washington and Angelina Jolie team up to great effect in this grisly thriller by Phillip Noyce. They star as cops – one a quadriplegic, the other a rookie – searching for a killer who’s leaving clues all over New York. What ensues is an entertaining but predictable race to identify the perpetrator, and a star-making turn from Jolie in her first major movie role. Queen Latifah, Mivchael Rooker and Luis Guzmánalso star.
