A fine yarn

Brigitte Macron, wife of Emmanuel Macron, the French president, studies the Bayeux Tapestry during a visit to the Musée de la Tapisserie in Bayeux, Normandy. The tapestry is to be displayed in the UK after France agreed it could leave its shores for the first time in 950 years. The loan is unlikely to happen before 2020 as tests are to be carried out to ensure the fragile 11th century work can be moved.
