Slowing the bus

Tales abound of the opposition bus being slowed to a virtual standstill by stadium officials or a troupe of bagpipers. “As a goal-kicker, my pre-match routine had to be perfect so I was always terrible on the bus,” recalled Paul Grayson. “I was doing cartwheels by the end of the journey to Murrayfield.”
