Ahead of the pack with the latest boys’ hairstyle
sir – The boys’ hairstyle featured in the Telegraph and named “Meet me at Mcdonald’s” (report, February 23) has been around for at least a couple of years.
We have a much more descriptive name for it – “the Alpaca”.

sir – What on earth is wrong with the “Meet me at Mcdonald’s” hairstyle that some schools have decided to ban?
The hair is clean and tidy, which probably can’t be said for some of the acceptable heads of hair in many schools. Letting the fashion run its course will end it far quicker than a ban and the attendant publicity. David Statham Stratford-upon-avon, Warwickshire
