In 2012, Naomi Oni was attacked with sulphuric acid in London by someone disguised in a niqab. The attack left her with lifealtering injuries. Here, using archive footage and reconstructions, Oni recounts the attack and how the police investigation (which, unbelievably, initially focused on whether she had inflicted the wounds on herself) proved the attacker to be a childhood friend.
