 In 2012, Naomi Oni was attacked with sulphuric acid in London by someone disguised in a niqab. The attack left her with lifealteri­ng injuries. Here, using archive footage and reconstruc­tions, Oni recounts the attack and how the police investigat­ion (which, unbelievab­ly, initially focused on whether she had inflicted the wounds on herself) proved the attacker to be a childhood friend.
