Ghostly presence

The lifesize outline statue of a First World War soldier stands at the Giant’s Causeway in County Antrim, Northern Ireland, as part of a national art installation, There But Not There.

The campaign, which marks 100 years since the end of the Great War, aims to raise £15 million for Armed Forces and mental health charities. Other locations with the ghostly Tommies include the Tower of London.
