Deadly snake found in child’s school lunch box

-

A mother in Australia discovered one of the world’s deadliest snakes when she was packing food in her child’s lunch box.

The baby eastern brown snake was hidden in the lid when she spotted it in her home in Hahndorf, a town near Adelaide, South Australia.

A local snake catcher was called in to remove the snake, which ranks as the second most venomous land snake on the planet. The snake catcher said that even a juvenile eastern brown could cause “big problems” if it bit a child.
