South Korea to send envoy to the North
South Korea plans to send a special envoy to North Korea in response to an invitation from its leader Kim Jong-un, South Korean president Moon Jae-in told Donald Trump in a phone call yesterday.
They also discussed recent visits to the South by North Korean officials.
The Winter Olympics recently improved relationships between the two Koreas after more than a year of rising tensions over the North’s missile programme and its nuclear testing regime.
