This series on mass shootings in the US comes to an end with an episode about the 1999 massacre at Columbine school in Colorado, which, following the shooting in Florida last month, no longer stands as the worst high-school shooting in US history. The matter is sensitively handled, as journalist Dave Cullen debunks the theory that the perpetrators were “depressed outcasts”. But, most importantly, the focus is on the victims and survivors, such as the school’s principal and Jefferson County’s head investigator, who discuss how their lives have changed.
