- By Helena Horton

SIR MO FARAH has complained that he was a victim of “racial harassment” by German airport police for wearing a hoodie, as he travelled to his training camp in Ethiopia.

Farah, 34, posted videos on social media of himself being pushed by officials at Munich Airport. He said: “Sad to see racial harassment in this day and age. 2018 … !!!! ”.

The athlete repeated this claim in the video, saying: “Just in the airport here, got harassed again, again, again. For wearing a hoodie and a jumper. The guy’s touching me up like crazy. Pure harassment, pure, pure harassment. You don’t need to push me.”

In the video, a guard is seen pushing the four-time Olympic gold medallist after he asked not to be touched. A spokesperson told The Daily Telegraph: “Mo felt that the incident was racially motivated and that he was unfairly treated by the airport security staff.”
