Chinese space station to crash to Earth in weeks

-

China’s out of control space station, the Tiangong-1, is expected to crash down to Earth in coming weeks, but space agencies have been unable to predict exactly where it will hit.

The European Space Agency expects it to hurtle through the atmosphere between March 24 and April 19 after China admitted in 2016 that it would not be able to conduct a controlled re-entry.

Scientists say there is a chance a “small amount of debris” from the station could survive re-entry and hit Earth.
