Radio 3 in Concert – International Women’s Day

Radio 3 is classy when it celebrates International Women’s Day, generally putting a serious focus on female musical talent, and this year is no exception. For tonight’s Radio 3 in Concert, five works by underappreciated female composers are performed by the BBC Concert Orchestra, live from LSO St Luke’s. Conducted by Jane Glover, the programme comprises pieces by Florence B Price, Marianna Martines, Augusta Holmès, Johanna Müller-hermann, and Leokadiya Kashperova.
