Heiress and her hen party die in plane crash

A Turkish heiress killed in a plane crash on the way home from her hen party in Dubai was an “elegant” bride-to-be “devoted” to her family.

Mina Basaran, 28, died when a private jet carrying her and seven friends, along with three flight crew, crashed in mountainous western Iran as it returned from a luxury break in the United Arab Emirates. She was in line to head her father Huseyin’s company, Basaran Investment Holding, involved in the construction, tourism, finance and energy sectors.
