JIGSAW’S PYJAMA TROUSERS

-

I’m completely on board with wearing a PJ shirt to work, but so far I’ve found the prospect of wearing pyjama bottoms out of the house a little daunting.

Enter this chevron print pair from Jigsaw. Loose fitting? Tick. Slightly wide leg? Tick. Silk? Tick. They have the relaxed-butpolished aesthetic of

PJS, but with the absence of an elasticated waistband, and the addition of little slits at each hem, they are, unmistakably, trousers. I’ll be wearing mine with a cashmere roll neck and trainers into the office for the time being, and come summer, with a T-shirt and leather sandals. What’s more, they’re excellent holiday trousers and ideal for evening (with crystal-embellished flats and sculptural earrings), meaning they are more than worth their price tag. Olivia Buxton Smith
