1 Bacardys

Switches back from fences and is unproven over further than 2m 5f; gamely won Grade 1 at Punchestown last spring. 8-1

2 Donna’s Diamond

In the form of his life and recently supplemented for this race, but needs to improve significantly again to figure. 40-1

3 L’ami Serge

Game and consistent; capable of smart form over fences and hurdles; stays well and acts in mud. 12-1

4 Lil Rockerfeller

Tough performer; second in this a year ago but below that level of form since and hard to fancy this time around. 25-1

5 Old Guard

Fair stayer who runs this undulating track well; appeared to stay on his only previous effort at this trip. 25-1

6 Penhill

Won Albert Bartlett here a year ago in the style of a potentially smart stayer; not seen since April but has won fresh in past; interesting. 10-1

7 Sam Spinner

Much improved since stepped up in trip this season and clearly enjoys a test of stamina; no surprise if he were to go close. 7-2 Fav

8 Supasundae

Won a handicap at this meeting a year ago; appeared to run fine race to win Irish Champion Hurdle over 2m last time; stays 3m and a serious player. 11-2

9 The New One

High-class performer and Festival regular, who always runs well here; unproven at trip but fancied to enjoy the experience. 12-1

10 The Worlds End

Useful and trip should be no problem – was going well when fell two out in Albert Bartlett a year ago; suspicion that he is best on good ground. 33-1

11 Unowhatimeanharry

Very smart on his day but below best this year; hard to rule out if recapturing form – and support in early betting suggests that is expected. 10-1

12 Wholestone

Consistently shown decent form but needs to find some improvement to beat the best; stamina not an issue, nor is the ground. 14-1

13 Yanworth

Has had limitations exposed chasing but has stronger hurdles form. Still slight doubts over this demanding distance. 5-1

14 Apple’s Jade

Beaten favourite in Mares’ Hurdle on Tuesday when the slow pace did not help her; capable of taking a hand if turned out again. 10-1

15 Augusta Kate

Capable stayer but has plenty to find to be considered a likely winner in this grade. 33-1

16 Colin’s Sister

Tough and consistent but may just lack the class to be concerned at the finish; has something to find with a few of her rivals on past form. 33-1

17 Let’s Dance

Well beaten on only attempt at this trip and rest of form leaves her with improvement to make to enable her to trouble the principals. 33-1
