Grenfell fire Door failed safety tests

A Grenfell Tower fire door kept flames at bay for only half the time it was supposed to, a Met Police test has found.

In revelations described as “shocking” by survivors, an undamaged door was tested and found to withstand a blaze for 15 minutes – not the 30 for which it was designed.
