 Stand-up Sophie Willan makes her Radio 4 debut with this four-part series. And she’s certainly a refreshing voice: while her comedy is based on her unusual life experiences, which include growing up in care and being a sex worker, she is resistant to being pigeonholed. She is inclusive and accessible as well as being sharply political. This series compares her life to what a “normal life” is supposed to look like, starting by considering the way we look at monogamous relationships.
